The Barcelona chair is the designer Mies. Van. Designed by Mies van der Rohe and Lily Reich (1885-1947) to welcome the king and queen of Spain. In coordination with the famous German Pavilion, it became a classic at the 1929 Barcelona World Expo and a landmark work in modern furniture design.
